Partisans 1941

Partisans 1941 is a real-time tactics game with stealth elements, set on the eastern front of WW II. As a Red Army commander behind enemy lines you gather a group of Partisans to wage guerilla warfare against the German occupants.

This project marked the beginning of my career in game development.

  • Managed the game's promotion as a Community Manager.

  • Released the first successful gameplay video, reaching 200,000 views in a month.

  • Balanced the meta gameplay.

  • Created all in-game cinematics.

  • Designed and tested prototypes to achieve Proof of Gameplay.

Partisans 1941 - Back to Battle DLC

The Partisans 1941 – Back Into Battle DLC allows you to customize and approach missions in your own way in Missions Mode. Choose from seven brand new missions, then set yourself a challenge with the modifier system. Create your dream team of Partisans, then customize and outfit them freely to suit your strategy. Use this new freedom wisely: the new challenges will be a real test of your skills as Partisan commander!

I came up with one of the core gameplay mechanics for the DLC - Missions. The essence of this mechanic is that the game turns into a sandbox, allowing players to choose any heroes and assemble their starting equipment.

Additionally, players can increase the challenge by selecting special modifiers.

Descensus

Descensus is a souls-like action-RPG with challenging combat set in post-catastrophe diesel punk world. The player's goal is to reach the heart of the mysterious Rift of the Fallen Star – a grandiose tear in the world appeared as a result of a catastrophe and changed the world beyond recognition breaking laws of universe and converting the world around into an anomalous zone.

  • I was involved in the development and further technical implementation of the UI in the early stages of development.

  • Created gameplay prototypes using GAS (Gameplay Ability System).

  • Set up the initial balance in the early stages of development.

  • I worked on the early versions of in-game audio events.
